Here in the Philippines the stores at the mall will give you a discount for high ticket items if you pay in cash. It’s usually 2-3% discount off the listed price. Which is the merchant fee for paying via credit card. It’s illegal for stores to add extra surcharge on credit card purchases. So the store will adjust their pricing to account for that.
